This is definitely a conversation with a difference and one I was called to have from the moment I came across

I was not fully aware of Soma’s back story when we started the interview but I feel that I was very guided to have a conversation with her and what unfolded is a story that needs to be told, not just for Soma, but for all the souls who have suffered and continue to suffer from extreme abuse, every day around the globe.
We cannot heal what we hide from and refuse to face. Like any survivor of sexual abuse, it takes extreme courage to share their story and Soma does so, not just for her own healing but also for the healing of every other survivor and for humanity. We owe it to her and others to listen to them. This is how we heal collectively as a humanity.
Some of the bravest, most inspiring people I feel lucky to have met have lived very difficult, traumatic lives. In doing so and coming out the other side, they demonstrate that we all have the power to overcome unimaginable pain. When we do so we shine even more brightly, spur others on and elevate humanity to it’s highest expression of love.
This is a challenging but triumphant story to hear.
