In Rebekah’s words
Born in England into a devout Mormon family, I have had the privilege of experiencing life across different cultures and countries. At the age of 10, my family relocated to Saudi Arabia, where I spent four formative years learning to navigate a world rich in diversity and, indeed, trauma. At 14, I was sent to a boarding school in Virginia, USA, for three years, and my academic journey continued at Brigham Young University in Utah, where I further developed my interests and passions.
At 21, I met and married an Irishman I had met on holiday in England, and together we welcomed three wonderful daughters, moving to Ireland after our first daughter was born. However, despite the joy of motherhood, we faced financial struggles, and I found myself desperately unhappy. After a challenging journey, I ultimately became divorced and dedicated the next decade to lifting my family out of the poverty trap.
Through determination and hard work, I built multiple thriving businesses in Waterford City, Ireland. Along this journey, I discovered the transformative power of plant medicine, embarking on a deep inner journey that shifted my perspective on life. This profound experience led me to study and eventually hold plant medicine retreats, where I share my insights and help others find joy and healing in their lives.
Today, I enjoy a fulfilling life with a beautiful home in Ireland, a yacht in Spain, and a campervan for adventures. I’m surrounded by a loving family, including six grandchildren, and an amazing tribe of friends across the globe. Now retired at 56, I am grateful for the income generated by my businesses, which allows me to live my dream with total freedom. As I reflect on my journey, I realize that I have spent my life following my passions, and it feels as though my life is only just beginning.
